Tell amgr run

Lately I have been using this Domino command more than usual.  I also had the opportunity to introduce this command to a Domino Administrator who was not aware of it.

It was introduced with version 6.x and does exactly what you expect it to do.  It runs an agent in a Domino database on demand.  No more messing about with changing the agent schedule and then having to resign the agent, just enter the command on the Domino console and away you go.  A real time saver!

The full syntax is Tell amgr run "path\databasename.nsf" 'agentname'

Great for forcing Out of Office to run now, when you are trouble shooting a problem.
