Rotten Apple
So, apparently January, is rotten Apple month! Throughout the month of January, one bug a day is meant to be exposed.I struggle with this. I applaud an organisation that exposes weaknesses in the product, but only if the effort is intended to allow the vendor (Apple) to correct the problems. This organisation, intends to expose the flaw, and simultaneously an example of a working exploit! What the ****? Why?
January 1st flaw is a QuickTime one, which impacts Windows and OS X. No sign of today's yet, but apparently they have a list they are working on.
What is the point? Glory hunters? Sheesh!
