Out of Office limitations
Why do I have to be connected to the Exchange server, just to turn on my Out of Office Assistant? You can't turn it on when you are in the office in advance, without sending out premature responses, so you try to leave it late before turning it on. Then you end up rushing out of the office and forget to enable it. So, you figure you will enable it on the train/plane or whatever, only to find out you can't do it!! Grrrrrrrrrr.I know Exchange 2007 supports Notes 5 like configuration options to allow you to pre-configure it in advance, but I wonder if you can do it offline too? Don't see why you can't. Surely the client could just store the request locally, and update the server the next time you connect? Still, at least once you have it running, it responds in a timely fashion, unlike Notes pre version 8.
Ho Hum!
