FMC embraces Enterprise 2.1

It was only a couple of weeks ago when I joked about the criteria for Enterprise 2.1.

Well, it seems that FMC are now an Enterprise 2.1 organisation - we have just upgraded our CIO!

Congratulations to Dave Kotch on his appointment as the new FMC CIO.  Mike Giesler is retiring after spending 5 years at the helm.

Dave is my current boss, so hopefully his change in role won't pose too many challenges to me.  But, no doubt he will look to implement his own vision, which is where I hope to be able to add my own perspective.  Dave has made it clear that he looks to me to propose ideas that make him uncomfortable(!), so let's see how uncomfortable I can make him!
