Couldn't resist the obvious pun on the product name!

I got an email last night from the Flock developers that they have made available the latest beta of their Firefox derived "Social" browser.

This is an interesting twist on the classic browser idea.  It is designed to compliment blogging, del.icio.us bookmarks and allows you to tag and classify pages you visit for the greater good.  Using the blogging option, you will be able to add blog content from the browser - the browser in essence becomes your blog authoring tool.  I could not get this to work with my blog, I suspect API support and further development will be required for that.

It is still early days for the browser/idea, but interesting none the less.
