USA are better than England???
A few of my yanky colleagues took great joy in sending me the following article on Soccernet.How quickly they forget, the very recent (May 2005) encounter, where England proved their worth (2-1) over the USA again, with what, was only an experimental team - with 3 debuts (one of which scored England's both goals)
I was just talking about the world rankings yesterday, and decided that FIFA should adopt the Google Page Rank system. The ranking of the teams you beat, should have more impact on the overall placements.
I mean: Jamaica, Costa Rica, Canada, Cuba can hardly be classed as high ranking competition.
Additionally, I point out that England are the only team in their European world cup qualifying group, not to of lost a match.
'nuf said!
