Konfabulator

Now that Yahoo have just purchased Konfabulator, I expect that we will hear a lot more about it.

The base idea is that you load widgets, which read an XML source to provide pertinent information on your PC.  However the way it presents this information is drop dead gorgeous!

As more useful widgets become available, it will replace some of the random web surfing that is required to gather this information.  These widgets are preprogrammed to get just the information you are interested in.
