Who needs IT? Lightweight applications you can use on your own

Applications that give you a vote, not a veto!

Quite a mixed session.  Varying from the the run of the mill demos: GroveTree, Microsoft showing their collaborative offerings.  Web based ones being similar to the QuickPlace offering and Microsoft showing their new child: Groove! to the quite innovative.

The interesting items were the more revolutionary ones.  These being del.icio.us (which must be the coolest URL on the Web!), TWIKI (Buck Rogers flasback!), Jybe's innovative browser sharing addin and the owner of kidrobot showed how his company manages the development and production of their toys using a blog based project/workflow hosted application, from Basecamp.  I thoroughly recommend following up on these products and decide if there is a fit for you.
