Social Networking Apps

This was a really etheral experience!  Not sure where this concept may evolve to.  It all seemed to soft to me for any practical use in our environment.

Tools that try to allow you to leverage your 'Social Capital' - That's a new saying for me!!!

Sales rep, my try use this tool to identify a contact in a potential customer.


By applying filters to the social network, you make it a lot easier to find the contacts you are looking for.

User groups addons.  Could be used to help make your more effective when attending conferences.

Recruitment options.

Spider algorithms running wild over contacts in your address book.  How do you reassure users that this information will not be missused.  User control what data is scanned to build the social map.  The maps are the evidence of the relationships.  

Peer based, with a strong focus on privacy.

hiring, closing business deals

Early adopters, looking at this technology - mainly in the services industry at the moment.

Knowledge sharing: Who is talking to who about whay?  Scanning the internet and emails help to build this information.
